Hone exists to create story and place-driven landscape architecture that leaves the environment and community better off.

Our Story

The name Hone reflects a sense of care, attention to craft, and meticulousness. Inspired by Andrew’s grandfather’s carpentry practice, we’re drawn to the idea of slowly refining – adding to and taking away from a piece until it’s complete. The name also alludes to being in a calm, creative flow state. At heart, Hone refers to a practice of continual improvement.
